Where It All Began

Owner Brandon Vetter’s Story: A Career Built Around Helping Drivers

Real mechanical expertise behind every recovery

Service Built on People, Not Just Tow Trucks

Tip-Top-Towing is built around the belief that great service starts with people. While dependable equipment is important, our team focuses on clear communication, respect, and helping drivers through difficult situations.

Mechanical Expertise You Can Trust

After graduating from high school, Brandon Vetter attended Universal Technical Institute, where he earned an Associate’s degree in automotive and diesel repair in 1993. That same year, he became the youngest double master-certified mechanic in the country. Over the next three decades, Brandon maintained those certifications while gaining extensive hands-on experience working with automotive, diesel, and heavy equipment systems.

A Company Built on Hands-On Mechanical Experience

Tip-Top-Towing is more than a dispatch operation.

Our headquarters in Newman Lake sits on five acres and includes a full diesel shop operated by Brandon himself. Every truck in the fleet is serviced, repaired, and often assembled in-house, allowing us to keep our equipment dependable and ready for the road. In house diesel mechanic expertise allows us to serve you with:

When you contact Tip-Top-Towing, you’re working with a team that understands how vehicles are built and how to handle them properly — not a company that simply hooks up and tows.

Beyond Simply Towing & Recovery

Beyond towing and recovery, Tip-Top-Towing offers a full range of services, including:

General Towing

Safe and dependable towing for cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Whether your vehicle has broken down or needs to be relocated, our team can transport it securely to a repair shop, home, dealership, or another destination.

Rollback (fFlatbed) Towing

Flatbed towing provides a smooth and level transport method that helps protect vehicles during loading and transport. This service is ideal for low-clearance vehicles, all-wheel-drive cars, and specialty vehicles that require extra care.

Fifth Wheel & Trailer Towing

Moving trailers, fifth wheels, and RVs requires the right equipment and proper towing connections. Our team provides secure trailer towing to safely move your setup when mechanical issues or unexpected situations arise.

4×4 wrecker & off-road recovery

When vehicles end up off the road or stuck in difficult terrain, specialized equipment is often required. Our 4×4 recovery trucks are built to handle mud, snow, steep grades, and hard-to-reach locations.

Emergency Roadside Services

Not every roadside issue requires a tow. Our roadside assistance services help drivers get moving again with solutions such as jump starts, tire changes, lockout assistance, and fuel delivery when you run out of gas.

Impound Services for Property Owners & Managers

We assist property owners, businesses, and property managers with professional impound towing services. When unauthorized or abandoned vehicles need to be removed, our team provides safe and responsible vehicle handling.

No matter the situation, our goal remains the same: respond quickly, handle the job safely, and treat every customer with professionalism and respect. Whether it’s a roadside breakdown, recovery situation, or vehicle that needs to be moved, our team focuses on making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Our Commitment to Every Customer

We understand that most people call a tow company during stressful moments—whether it’s a breakdown, accident, or roadside emergency. Our team takes that responsibility seriously and focuses on providing calm, dependable help when it’s needed most.

At Tip-Top-Towing, our team is committed to:

We’re proud of the team we’ve built and the reputation we’re earning across Washington and North Idaho. And we truly hope we meet — or exceed — your towing expectations.

Strategically Located for Fast Response and Wide Coverage

Being based in Newman Lake near the State Line gives us a strategic advantage. We can easily service communities throughout Spokane and Kootenai Counties.

Some towing companies only operate within a single city or state. Our team serves drivers throughout Eastern Washington and the North Idaho Panhandle, helping reduce wait times and improving response coverage across the region.

Built for Tough Winter Recoveries

Winter vehicle recovery is one of the services that truly defines Tip-Top-Towing.

Each year, snow, ice, steep driveways, and slick back roads leave drivers stranded across Spokane County and nearby North Idaho communities. Not every towing company is equipped—or experienced enough—to handle those situations safely.

Our team regularly handles winter recoveries ranging from vehicles stuck in snowbanks and icy shoulders to slide-offs into ditches or off-road areas. With the right equipment, training, and hands-on experience, we’re prepared to safely recover vehicles even when winter conditions are at their worst.

Local Service from a Family-Run Team

Tip-Top-Towing is a locally owned, family-run towing and roadside assistance company.

Brandon’s wife, Brenda, plays an important role in the business as well. As a CPA with a background in financial management, she helps support operations behind the scenes while working full-time for a major accounting firm. Her previous experience running five tire stores gives her strong insight into both the automotive field and business operations.

Brandon’s hands-on technical knowledge combined with Brenda’s business and financial experience provides a balanced foundation for the company, focused on responsible growth and doing things the right way.

A Busy Life Off the Road

Away from the tow trucks, Brandon spends his time on projects that keep him just as busy—building mountain-top ham radio repeaters, rehabbing properties, and enjoying time at home with Brenda and their four dogs.
